I completed one year of a student-teaching internship in accordance with the standards set by University of Alaska Southeast. Throughout the year I increasingly took over responsibility in the classroom, eventually planning full units for Frankenstein and Persepolis managing all grading and parent contact.

Interests

I am a consigned artist.

I love hiking, running, XC skiing, climbing, and eating BBQ salmon. I've travelled to 15 countries.

Commercial Fisherwoman

I have commercial fished almost every summer of my life on a family run drift-gillnetter in Bristol Bay. I have also worked on a seiner in Kodiak and Prince William Sound.
